Menglong Zhu

Menglong Zhu is a highly accomplished professional in the field of machine learning and computer vision. Currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at DJI since November 2019, Menglong Zhu previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Google from December 2015 to November 2019, where significant contributions included pioneering mobile deep learning techniques with MobileNets and leading real-time object detection initiatives. Menglong Zhu earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on research areas such as object detection, human pose estimation, and visual SLAM, further supplemented by a research internship at MERL that resulted in a US patent. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Technology was obtained from Fudan University.
