Mike Jock

Mike Jock is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and program management within the engineering and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Ascential Medical & Life Sciences since August 2017, Mike assesses business opportunities and prepares detailed program plans and proposals. Previously, Mike held roles as Program Manager and Project Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, managing significant contracts for the Missile Defense Agency and overseeing various technical projects. Mike's earlier career includes positions at BAE Systems as Principal Systems Engineer, and at Raytheon, Scivac/Optcom, and Lockheed Missiles and Space as an Optical Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
