Rune Foldnes

Rune Foldnes has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Rune has held various positions in different companies, including DKSH and Diethelm Keller Management AG.

At DKSH, Rune was Vice President Group Accounting, Financial Reporting & Country Finance for the North American region. Rune was also responsible for external financial reporting and contact with external auditors. In a previous role as Vice President Group Accounting and Finance Reporting, they headed the Group accounting, consolidation, and financial reporting team, and served as the Audit Committee secretary.

Prior to this, Rune was Vice President of Regional Finance for Europe at DKSH, where they were the Head of Finance/CFO for all operational units across Europe and the Americas. Rune played an active role in the outsourcing of accounting activities and the centralization of key finance functions, as well as the due diligence, closing, and integration of acquisitions.

Before joining DKSH, Rune worked at Diethelm Keller Management AG, where they were the Controller for the Diethelm Keller Group. Rune consolidated Group entities and prepared financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Rune also administered and enhanced the Hyperion Enterprise application and trained users in Europe and Asia. Additionally, they worked on special projects assigned by the CEO, including the valuation and Board presentation of an acquisition proposal.

Overall, Rune has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, consolidation, and strategic finance operations. Rune has also been involved in various projects and has held leadership positions in different regions.

Rune Foldnes obtained a Siv.oek degree in Strategy and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) between 1994 and 1999. In 1998-1999, they pursued a CEMS MIM degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of St.Gallen. Between 2003 and 2005, Rune earned a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification from the CFA Institute with a focus on Finance. Rune also completed a CEMS MIM degree in International Business from CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education from 1997 to 1999. Lastly, they participated in the Finance Leadership Academy from 2007 to 2010, offered by the Corporate Executive Board. Rune is also a CFA Charterholder, although specific details regarding the certification date are not provided.
