Joanna Wright

Joanna Wright is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in financial regulation and media. Currently serving as a Regulatory Correspondent at DL News since January 2023, Joanna previously held the positions of EMEA Editor of WatersTechnology and Staff Writer focusing on US financial regulation at InfoPro Digital from February 2017 to December 2022. Earlier roles include Reporter at Inside Reference Data and a journalist at Mediak Media Consulting. Joanna's foundational experience includes serving as Senior Sub-Editor at Daily Sun and Deputy Chief Sub (Nights) at The Witness & Weekend Witness from 2005 to 2012. Educationally, Joanna earned a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 2002 and 2010.
