Sarah Murphy

Sarah Murphy is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate in Litigation and Regulatory at DLA Piper since August 2021. Previously, Sarah worked as a Trainee Solicitor and held the position of Human Rights Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland. Sarah's background includes a role as a Legal Intern at FLAC - Free Legal Advice Centres and a Mini Pupil at 39 Essex Chambers. As a Research Assistant at the United Nations International Law Commission, Sarah contributed to legal studies under Ambassador Marja Lehto. Additional experience includes internships at Immigration Equality and the Courts Service of Ireland. Sarah holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Legal Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin, complemented by a BCL from Utrecht University during an Erasmus exchange.
