Ohiani Idawu

Ohiani Idawu has over a decade of experience in risk management and compliance. Ohiani most recently worked as the Vice President of Group Risk, Internal Control, and Compliance at DLM Capital Group since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a consultant in internal audit, risk, and compliance advisory services from January 2016 to October 2018. Ohiani also held the position of Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Eczellon Capital from January 2014 to December 2015. Ohiani Idawu's experience also includes being the Head of Enterprise Risk and Compliance at Alternative Capital from November 2011 to January 2014, as well as working as an Investment Banking Risk Analyst and Compliance Officer at First City Monument Bank Limited from June 2008 to October 2011.

Ohiani Idawu's education history includes a degree in BSc Accounting from the University of Benin and an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University. They also completed a course called "Turning Strategy into Action" at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ohiani Idawu has obtained several certifications including being a Fellow of the Society for West African Internal Audit Practitioners, a Certified Data Protection Practitioner, a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, a Certified Fraud Examiner, an Accredited Compliance Officer, a Certified Professional in AXELOS M_o_R Management of Risk, and a professional member of The Institute of Operational Risk.
