Ferdinard Wambua

Ferdinard Wambua is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and management within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Regional Expansion Manager and Country Manager at dLocal since January 2022, Ferdinard leads operations in East Africa, focuses on driving operational excellence and revenue optimization, and cultivates partnerships with key stakeholders across the region. Prior to this role, Ferdinard held various leadership positions at Co-operative Bank of Kenya from March 2011 to January 2022, including Head of Merchant Acquiring & Push Payments, where strategic planning and sales support were pivotal in driving growth in payment solutions. Ferdinard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kemu, obtained in July 2012.
