Sunil Rao

Sunil Rao has extensive work experience in the banking sector. Sunil is currently the Head of Strategy & Banking Alliances, India at dLocal since June 2023. Previously, they worked as the India Operations Manager at dLocal from April 2020 to June 2023. Prior to joining dLocal, Sunil held the position of Deputy Vice President & Head of Inbound Payments at IndusInd Bank from September 2015 to April 2020. Sunil also worked at Axis Bank, where they held various roles including Branch Sales Planning & Strategy, Product Cum Relationship Manager, International Retail, and Product Manager, Business Banking, from 2006 to 2015.

Sunil Rao completed an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical from A. C. Patil College of Engineering from 2000 to 2004.
