Barry Degroot

Barry brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to DLP Capital Partners. Barry received his B.A. degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. Degree from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2001.

Barry is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association.

Barry has extensive experience in real estate and previously spent 8 years as in-house counsel for a very large regional real estate brokerage. His areas of practice include residential and commercial real estate, landlord representation, litigation, land acquisitions/development/zoning matters, construction and contractor matters, business formations and general business issues.

Barry also serves as an expert witness on issues relating to the standard of care of real estate brokers in real estate transactions.
