Rusty Pittman

Rusty Pittman has extensive experience in business development and marketing roles. Rusty currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at DMC Biotechnologies, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. where their responsibilities included leading business development, marketing, and sales efforts to introduce new products and drive revenue growth. Rusty also developed strategic collaborations and led the product development stage gate process. Before that, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Product Management at SolarWorld Americas, where they led marketing and product management teams and played a key role in developing sales, marketing, channel, and product strategies. Rusty also has experience as the Director of Business Development and Commercial Segment Management at James Hardie Building Products, where they created and led a dedicated commercial and multifamily business unit. Additionally, they have worked at BASF (Engelhard) as a Business Development Manager, supporting new growth opportunities and establishing market entry strategies. Rusty started their career at UOP, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager and Process Development Team Leader, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and launching new technology and commercial development teams.

Rusty Pittman holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on Strategy, Marketing, and Finance. Rusty also obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from New Mexico State University. Rusty Pittman has an additional certification as a Green Belt in Six Sigma, which was obtained from Honeywell in June 2003.
