Blake is a skilled PLC, HMI, and SCADA programmer with experience in Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, Wonderware, Ignition, and WinCC OA technologies. He is proficient in Cognex and Keyence Vision technologies, and a skilled programmer of FANUC and Mitsubishi robots. He has applied his skills to automation solutions in variety of industries including automotive, food and beverage, energy, and healthcare.
Blake is a graduate of Northwestern with a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. At Northwestern, he enjoyed design, building, and controlling robots. His master’s thesis focused on understanding the dynamics of legged robots walking, running, and jumping on yielding terrain.
