Stacie Stam-Gaffaney

Stacie Stam-Gaffaney, CPA has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Stacie is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at DMG MORI USA since February 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Deputy CFO / Director of Accounting at the same company from January 2019 to February 2022, and previously served as the General Manager of Accounting from March 2017 to January 2019.

In addition to their role at DMG MORI USA, Stacie has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at McHenry County College from September 2000 to May 2017, where they taught various accounting and finance courses. Before that, they worked as an Accounting Manager at True Value Company from April 2004 to March 2017, overseeing accounting operations.

Stacie's earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst at Berlin Packaging from June 2002 to April 2004, where they managed month-end close, account reconciliations, financial review, and cash application processes. Stacie started their career as a Staff Accountant-Audit/Tax at Abrams & Steinberg, P.C. from July 2000 to June 2002.

Stacie Stam-Gaffaney, CPA holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Stacie also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Mary's College. In addition to their formal education, Stacie also holds various certifications, including being a Registered Certified Public Accountant and a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Stacie has also completed several online courses in business strategy, corporate strategy, accounting analysis, auditing, corporate and commercial law, federal taxation, and managerial accounting.
