Dean Smith

Dean Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and consulting roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Managing Partner at DMS since January 2023, Dean previously held positions such as Associate Consultant and Consulting Operations Manager at DPK Information Systems Ltd from May 2017 to October 2022, and Board Director at e-gov Jamaica Ltd from March 2016 to February 2019. An academic contributor, Dean lectured at the University of Technology, Jamaica from August 2009 to July 2018 and served as President of the Jamaica Computer Society between November 2012 and February 2016. Additional leadership experience includes Director of the Information Technology Centre at Northern Caribbean University and Assistant Director of Elections - Information Technology at the Electoral Office of Jamaica. Dean's educational background includes a PhD in Education from Northern Caribbean University, an MBA in Finance and Technology Management from the University of the West Indies, and a BSc in Computer and Information Sciences from the same institution.
