Fabrizio Cornali, PhD has almost 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Fabrizio began their career as an Apprentice Surveyor and Construction worker at IMPRESA EDILE MODERNA S.R.L. in 2006 and 2007. From 2010 to 2017, they worked at the University of Bergamo where they served as a Teacher Assistant and Researcher. In 2013, they worked as a Structural and Building Engineer at Studio Frans Giobbi P.E. In 2014, Fabrizio became a licensed Professional Engineer in Italy. Fabrizio then joined West Roxbury Dental Arts in 2017 as an Office and Business Manager. In 2019, they joined Alares Engineering as a Senior Structural Engineer & Project Manager. Fabrizio's most recent role is as a Senior Structural Engineer at DN Tanks since January 2021.

Fabrizio Cornali has an extensive educational background. In 2007, they received their Diploma of Surveyor from the Istituto Statale d'Istruzione Secondaria Superiore "G. Quarenghi" in Bergamo, Italy. Subsequently, in 2011, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Building Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Bergamo. In the same year, they also obtained a Technical Certifier of Energy in Buildings from the same institution. Fabrizio further pursued their education and achieved a Master's degree in Building Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Bergamo in 2013. In 2014, Fabrizio enrolled in the Ph.D. Program in "Engineering and Applied Sciences" XXIX cycle at the same university and successfully completed it in 2017, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. During this time, they also attained a State examination for the eligibility to exercise the engineering profession, specializing in Building Engineering. In 2015, Fabrizio attended a Master's course on "Seismic Isolation and Dissipation" at the UME Graduate School in Pavia, Italy. Additionally, in 2014, they participated in another Master's course on "Seismic Design of Non-Structural Building Components" at the same institution. In 2013, Fabrizio took part in an international course on ancient structural technology applied to the restoration of monuments, organized by the Association of Ser Filippo Brunelleschi with the patronage of UNESCO in Florence, Italy. Furthermore, they pursued their Ph.D. studies in "Engineering and Applied Sciences" XXIX cycle at Tufts University, starting in 2016.
