Forensic DNA Analyst at DNA Labs International

Lauren Rigler is an experienced forensic DNA analyst currently employed at DNA Labs International since March 2018. Prior to this role, Lauren served as a histocompatibility technologist at UT Southwestern Medical Center from July 2012 to February 2018 and as a DNA analyst at DNA Labs International from June 2011 to June 2012. An internship as a DNA analyst at the Texas Department of Public Safety took place in early 2011, where Lauren assisted with evidence screening and genetic sample analysis. A significant formative role involved working as a student at the Innocence Project in 2010, focusing on exonerating wrongfully convicted individuals through scientific evidence evaluation. Earlier experience includes an internship at DNA Labs International in 2009, where Lauren supported evidence handling and laboratory tasks. Academically, Lauren holds a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science with a focus on Biology and Chemistry from Baylor University.
