Mikko Kulmala

Mikko Kulmala has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mikko currently holds the position of Head of Information Security at DNA Oyj since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the ISMS Manager at the same company from April 2021 to August 2021. In 2020, Mikko worked as a Partner and Chairman of the Board at Pinball Union Osk. Mikko spent a significant portion of their career at 3 Step IT, where they held various roles including Senior Manager, Security & Privacy from December 2018 to March 2021, Head of Quality, Environmental and Security systems from September 2016 to December 2018, IT Director from August 2010 to September 2016, IT Manager from January 2007 to August 2010, and Software Designer Engineer from September 2005 to December 2006. Mikko also gained experience as a Software Designer at Datium Oy from January 2001 to August 2005. Mikko started their career as a Cashier at Citymarket Lielahti Oy from May 1996 to December 2000.

Mikko Kulmala has a Master of Science in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, obtained between 1998 and 2004. Mikko also has a Specialist Qualification in Management from Omnia, Espoon seudun koulutuskuntayhtymä, obtained between 2008 and 2009. In 2012 to 2013, Mikko attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development for the Tailored Growth Academy for 3stepIT talents. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as CompTIA Cloud+ Cert Prep 1 (CV0-002), Data Protection Officer Training, and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
