Loren Buhle

Loren Buhle is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in risk management, quality assurance, compliance, and information security across multiple sectors, particularly in life sciences and healthcare. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Risk, Quality and Compliance at DNAnexus since 2017, Loren has held multiple leadership positions focusing on security, quality, and compliance. Prior to DNAnexus, Loren was the CISO and VP of Customer Support at Model N, where responsibilities included information security policy and customer support. Loren's earlier roles at IBM included Vice President of Big Data in Life Sciences and Global Director of Regulatory Compliance. Loren began the career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has notable experience in academia as a professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Loren holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Gettysburg College.
