Richard Dixon

Richard Dixon currently serves as VP Sales EMEA at DNAnexus, leading the commercial team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa since November 2022. Prior to that, Richard held several key positions at QIAGEN from April 2017 to October 2022, including Director Sales for QIAGEN Digital Insights in Europe and Associate Director roles focusing on the UK and EMEA bioinformatics markets. Richard's extensive experience in bioinformatics and data science began with roles at companies such as Fabric Genomics, Life Technologies, and Source BioScience, as well as academic positions at the University of Leicester. Richard holds an MSc in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology from De Montfort University, and a PhD in Cell/Molecular Biology from Yamanouchi Research Institute.
