Caroline Hötte

Caroline Payne is an experienced professional in operations and management, currently serving as Vice President of Operations in Real Estate Investment Management at Fundrise since March 2021, after previously holding the position of Senior Director at the same company. Prior to joining Fundrise, Caroline operated as a consultant from June 2018 to February 2021, where market diligence was conducted for private equity clients involved in software acquisitions. Caroline's early career included a role as a Senior Consultant in Strategy and Operations at Deloitte from March 2017 to June 2018, and a decade of service as a Naval Aviator in the U.S. Navy from December 2006 to December 2016. Caroline holds an MBA in General Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
