Bill Watts

Bill Watts has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Bill currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Doble Engineering Company since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Electrical Engineering at KVH Industries, Inc. from February 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as the Senior Director of Hardware Architecture and Systems Engineering at Dell EMC from May 2015 to October 2019.

From October 2009 to May 2015, they held the role of Senior Director of Systems Engineering at IBM. Bill also served as the Director of Systems Engineering at SiCortex, a high-performance computing start-up company, from February 2007 to June 2009.

Earlier in their career, Bill worked as the Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering at Sun Microsystems from 2002 to 2006. Bill also held positions as Director of HW Engineering at Pirus Networks from 2000 to 2002, Director of Hardware Engineering at Nexabit Networks from 1999 to 2000, and Principal Engineer at 3Com from 1995 to 1999.

Bill Watts has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Drexel University.
