Dr. Berzin is a therapeutic endoscopist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, where he plays an active in teaching medical trainees at all levels. Dr. Berzin has been the recipient of numerous clinical and classroom teaching awards, including the HMS Academy Certificate of Excellence and the Z. Myron Falchuk Award for Mentoring and Clinical Teaching. He has authored over 130 articles and chapters on GI endoscopy, including many early contributions to the field of AI in gastroenterology. He is a member of the ASGE AI Task Force and has co-chaired the annual Japan-U.S. Conference on Computer Aided Diagnosis for Colonoscopy since its founding in 2016. Dr. Berzin is a fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.
