Jere McLucas has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jere started their career in 1988 as an Airborne Instrumentation Operator/Technician in the United States Air Force. After that, Jere worked as a Satellite Communications Technician in the Ohio Air National Guard from 1994 to 2000. Following their military service, they joined the National Institutes of Health as a Biomedical Engineer from 2000 to 2007. In 2007, Jere transitioned to the private sector and took on the role of Principal Engineer at DocBox, Inc. Later in the same year, they moved to Nantero as a Senior Project Engineer. In 2008, they joined Lockheed Martin as a Senior Project Engineer, where they worked for almost a decade until 2017. Jere McLucas has had extensive experience in engineering and project management roles throughout their career.
Jere McLucas attended Wright State University from 1994 to 1999. In 1995, they attended USAF - Keesler AFB to study Satellite/Wideband Communications. From 1988 to 1989, McLucas studied Instrumentation/Telemetry Principles at USAF - Lowry AFB.
