Samuel Ewing

Samuel Ewing has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare and medical technology. Samuel is currently serving as the Global Head of Pharma Partnerships at Doccla since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Engineering, specializing in Digital Health and SaMD product management from February 2021 to January 2023. Samuel also served as a Senior Product Manager at Biofourmis from January 2020 to January 2021.

Samuel Ewing gained valuable experience at Roche, where they held the positions of Digital Biomarker Sensor Lead from April 2018 to December 2019 and Digital Biomarker Scientist from June 2017 to April 2018. Samuel was responsible for developing and implementing digital biomarker solutions. Before Roche, Samuel worked as a Business Development Manager at Wearable Sensing LLC for six months in 2017.

In 2016, they served as the Chief Neuroscience Officer at NeuroPro, where they conducted research and played a key role in projects investigating the electrophysiological biomarkers of tics associated with Tourette syndrome. Samuel also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Newcastle University from September 2014 to September 2015, and as a Medical Writer at Archimed Medical Communication AG from November 2013 to June 2014. Prior to that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Epilepsiezentrum, Neurozentrum Universitätsklinikum Freiburg from June 2013 to November 2013.

Samuel Ewing completed their education in a progressive manner, beginning with their A levels at The Manchester Grammar School from 1993 to 2000. Their choice of subjects included Physics, Maths, and Art. Building upon this foundation, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on Astrophysics, which they successfully completed from 2000 to 2004. Continuing their educational journey, Samuel went on to obtain an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Medical Devices from the University of Strathclyde, attending from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Agile Foundations from LinkedIn in September 2020.
