Jack Godau

Jack Godau is the Chief Digital Officer at doctorly. Jack was previously the Interim Vice President of Software Engineering at CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA from September 2020 to December 2020.

Jack Godau is responsible for state of the art software and migration of monoliths to micro-services. Jack was also responsible for evaluations during M&A, Make-or-Buy decisions around products and technologies. Jack built agile teams in many countries (Germany, USA, Italy, Romania, South Africa and Ukraine). The total team size was >100 FTE.

Jack homogenised processes und technology standards, improved tooling and reporting. Jack was also a key sparring partner for product management, C-Level leaders and board members. Jack developed an evolutionary software architecture, while ensuring security & compliance.

Some of their successes include improving team moral, implementing agile processes and improving tooling for faster delivery. Jack also ramped-up hiring to grow the teams internationally and implemented and streamlined reporting to enable transparent data driven decision making.
