Richard Harrison has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Richard has held positions such as Chief Financial Officer at Doctors Hospital starting in 2022 and Consultant CFO and CEO at GreenTech Group from 2017 to 2021. Richard also served as an Independent Director & ESG Consultant at Clearwater Cayman from 2021 to 2023, where they focused on responsible growth and implementation of ESG frameworks. Prior to these roles, Richard held positions such as Vice President - Finance at SOL Investments and DMS Governance, where they played key roles in strategic planning, business development, and cash planning. Richard also gained experience at PwC as an Audit Senior & CFO Services from 2002 to 2004 and at TFD Dunhams as an Accounts Senior from 1998 to 2002, where they demonstrated skills in budgeting and managerial responsibilities.
Richard Harrison attended The University of Manchester from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Leisure Management with a specialization in Management Science. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Dean Close Foundation from 1988 to 1994. Their primary education was completed at British School Muscat from 1983 to 1988. Additionally, Richard has obtained several certifications, including "Climate-related financial disclosures: Continuing the journey," "Introduction to scenario analysis," and "Understanding of the Recommendations of the TCFD" from the FSB Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) in February 2022. Richard also completed the "Climate Change: Financial Risks and Opportunities" certification from the Imperial College Business School in October 2020 and became a Qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) through ICAEW in January 2002. Furthermore, Richard holds the "Governance of climate-related risks and opportunities" certification from the Climate Disclosure Standards Board.
