Chief Product Officer at DoD Platform One

Matthew Jordan has a diverse work experience that includes various roles in different organizations. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at SV Microwave, where they focused on improving assembly and test processes. In the same year, they also joined the United States Air Force as a Lead Flight Test Engineer, supporting flight test activities for multiple aircraft models. From 2019 to 2021, Matthew was employed by the DoD Joint Artificial Intelligence Center, working as a Project Manager and leading a cross-functional team in accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Defense. In 2019, they also joined the United States Air Force as a Flight Commander and later became the Assistant Director of Operations. Currently, Matthew is Chief Product Officer at DoD Platform One, where they align the efforts of value streams to deliver products and services that promote DevSecOps adoption across the Department of Defense. Matthew also serves as the Product Manager for Cloud Native Access Point, the DoD's first zero trust network architecture for the cloud.

Matthew Jordan pursued their education at various institutions. Matthew earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University between 2009 and 2014. Matthew later enrolled at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from 2021 to 2024. Additionally, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the same school from 2021 to 2023. In 2023, Matthew completed the Acquisition Instructor Course as a Distinguished Graduate. Matthew also holds several certifications, including Private Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration, and Program Manager Level 1, Systems Engineering Level 2, and Test And Evaluation Level 2 from the Defense Acquisition University.
