Doug Dodd is a partner at Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, where the practice focuses on Media and First Amendment Law, representing various media entities in defamation and privacy lawsuits since November 1982. Dodd also served as a member of the Defense Counsel Section at the Media Law Resource Center from 1989 to 2012 and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable James O. Ellison at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma in 1982. Prior to the legal profession, Dodd held roles including News Director, Reporter, Anchor, and Producer at KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 1975 to 1981. Dodd earned a J.D. from The University of Tulsa College of Law (1981) and a B.S. in Speech, Radio & Television Production from The University of Tulsa (1971), having studied at John Brown University in 1967-1968.
