John Goddard

John Goddard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John is currently the COO of Digital Marketing Services at group.one, where they are responsible for setting strategy and implementing initiatives to grow the company's digital marketing services business. Prior to this, they served as a Non-Executive Director at SIINDA - Search & Information Industry Association and WinLocal GmbH.

From 2017 to 2021, John worked at Triton Partners as the COO of EDSA, where they focused on restructuring and simplifying the company's structures, processes, and product portfolios. John also managed the sell-side sale and integration of the Herold business to the dogado Group. Additionally, they served as the Interim CEO at Herold GmbH, leading a comprehensive restructuring effort that resulted in sales and revenue growth for the first time in five years.

Earlier in their career, John held various roles such as Advisor Digital Investments at Funke Mediengruppe GmbH & Co. KGaA, Co-Founder and COO of RedCurrent, and Co-Founder and CEO of WinLocal, where they built the company into one of the largest platforms for local online marketing services to SMBs in Germany.

Prior to that, they held leadership positions at Santander UK as the Managing Director of Ecommerce and Strategy Director of Channels, and at M&G Investments as the Marketing Director for Europe. John also served as the Marketing Director for UK & Germany at UBS Wealth Management.

John Goddard attended Saint Thomas Academy from 1986 to 1989. John then pursued higher education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications from 1989 to 1993. In 1992, they also briefly studied at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), although the degree and field of study for this period are unspecified.
