Tom is an Electromechanical Engineer with a PhD in miniaturised wearable humanoid robotics. He specialises in system architecture, integration and implementation, delivering large multidisciplinary projects across the medical and synthetic biology areas. Before joining Dogtooth, Tom lead a team that successfully encoded data into DNA; storing Wikipedia in DNA. Tom’s background allows him to deliver in both the mechanical and electronics disciplines. Tom received both his 1st class Engineering Degree and PhD from the University of Southampton. In his spare time, Tom Captains the Cambridge water polo team.
