Shokunbi Olukayode

Shokunbi Olukayode has diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shokunbi is currently working as a Venture Fellow at VU Venture Partners since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate at the same company from March 2023 to June 2023. In 2022, Shokunbi served as the Finance Team Lead at Dojah (YC-W22). From 2021 to 2022, they held the position of Manager, Finance Advisory at PwC Nigeria. Shokunbi has also been the Chief Financial Officer at both Infibranches Technologies from 2018 to 2021 and Swifta Systems and Services Ltd from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they were responsible for Finance and Account management at SWETS GROUP from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Shokunbi has experience as a Fund Accountant/Administrator at Lotus Capital Limited from 2014 to 2015 and as an Accountant at Meristem Nigeria from 2013 to 2014. Shokunbi started their career as an Auditor at TAC PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT) from 2012 to 2013. Shokunbi also served as the Chief Financial Officer at SEDI from 2009 to 2011.

Shokunbi Olukayode's education history begins with their enrollment at Lagos State University from 2005 to 2010. During this time, they obtained a BSc in Accounting. In 2007, they also began attending the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, where they completed their associate degree in Chartered Accountancy in 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Shokunbi Olukayode passed Level 1 of the CFA program in January 2018 and Level 2 in August 2019, both from the CFA Institute. Shokunbi also obtained the title of Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in December 2010 and became an Associate Accounting Technician in May 2009, also from the same institution.
