Jozef Szumilo

Jozef Szumilo has a strong background in software development and data analysis. Jozef began their career at Thomson Reuters in 2008, where they worked as a Data Analyst and later became a Senior Data Analyst. Jozef then transitioned into a role as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer before becoming a Database Developer. In 2014, they advanced to the position of Senior Database Developer.

In 2018, Jozef joined Refinitiv, an LSEG business, as a Lead Developer. Jozef spent two years in this role before moving to Tenfold, A LivePerson (LPSN) Company in 2020. At Tenfold, they initially served as a Back End Developer and later became a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. Jozef remained in this position until 2021 when they joined Doktor.se as a Senior Software Developer.

Most recently, Jozef became a Course Instructor at the Software Development Academy in 2022. Jozef'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in software development and data analysis, as well as their progression into leadership roles.

Jozef Szumilo completed their education with a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Gdańsk University of Technology in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate degree at the University of Gdańsk and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics in 2002-2008. During their time as an undergraduate, they also spent a year studying International Economics at the University of Valencia in 2006-2007, although no degree name is specified for this period of study.
