Sergio Tagliapietra

Sergio Tagliapietra has a strong background in the IT industry, with experience in various leadership roles. Sergio is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology for the Americas at DOLCE&GABBANA, where they are responsible for developing the IT infrastructure and operations for corporate offices and retail networks. Sergio also oversees system integrations and directs all helpdesk operations. Prior to this, Tagliapietra worked as the Director of IT and Business Process at Rubelli USA, where they managed ERP systems and designed a new web application for managing sampling. At Donghia, they held multiple roles including Director of IT and Customer Service and IT and Business Process Manager. During their time there, they achieved significant cost savings, improved network performance, and simplified order workflows. Sergio also played a key role in the merger of Rubelli's two subsidiaries in the United States and led data center consolidation projects. Overall, Sergio Tagliapietra has demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure management, system integrations, and process improvements.

Sergio Tagliapietra attended MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2021, where they studied Organizational Design for Digital Transformation with a focus on Information Systems Research. Sergio also studied Political Science and Government at Università degli Studi di Padova from 1998 to 2000. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued History at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Additionally, Sergio obtained certifications in Security Governance & Compliance from UC Irvine and Agile Project Management from Google in 2021.
