Brian Nielson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brian has most recently worked at Domo as a Sr. Manager, Lead Conversion and Demand Generation. Prior to that, they were the Lead Conversion and Demand Generation Manager at Domo. From 2015 to 2021, Brian worked at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business, where they held positions such as Product Marketing Manager, Senior Field Marketing Manager, and Field Marketing Manager. Brian started their career as a Marketing Intern/Specialist at Certiport. Additionally, Brian worked as a Website Administrator at Utah Valley University in 2015 and as a Project Manager at Mach Solutions, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. At Utah Valley University, they also served as a Research and Development Team Member and a UV Mentor, where they mentored undergraduate college students and taught college success classes.
Brian Nielson began their education journey at Utah Valley University in 2012 and completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing in 2016. Brian then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Utah Valley University between 2017 and 2019.
In addition to their degrees, Brian Nielson has obtained various certifications. In 2015, they earned the IC3 Digital Literacy Certification from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business. This was followed by the Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2016 certification from Microsoft in 2016. In 2017, they obtained the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification (ESB) from Certiport. Later that same year, they acquired the Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2016 certification from Microsoft and the Digital Marketing Boot Camp certificate from SkillPath Seminars.
Brian Nielson continued their certifications in 2019 by becoming a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) through Microsoft. Brian then obtained three additional certifications in 2020, including the Focus and Foundations certifications from Pragmatic Institute and the PMC Level II certification, also from Pragmatic Institute.
