Justin Sommercorn

Justin Sommercorn has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Justin started their career at Paraben Corporation in 2006 as a Developer, where they designed and created databases, implemented changes to company websites, and launched an enterprise site. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Web/Application Developer at JK Ventures / Vanguard Legal, where they developed and maintained ASP.NET web applications, worked with LINQ to SQL, and implemented Agile practices.

In 2010, Justin joined APX Alarm Security Solutions Inc. as a Software Engineer. Justin developed a CMS solution, WCF web services, console scheduled tasks, and an Active Directory program. Justin also worked on a Tax service that handled concurrent connections and automated user and email account creation for HR.

From 2011 to 2012, Justin worked as a Software Engineer at Vivint, where they further honed their skills in software development. Justin then joined Certiport in 2012 as a Software Engineer, where they developed a SalesForce synchronization tool, identified security flaws in the primary website, and worked on various projects related to rendering exams and handling Certiport programs on users' computers.

In 2012, Justin worked as a Salaried Professional Software Engineer at Robert Half Technology before joining Populus Group in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer. At Populus Group, they contracted with Visa and developed migration scripts using NANT, configured web applications and services, and debugged errors between different environments.

In 2015, Justin joined Domo, Inc., where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. In this role, they created REST connectors using Java for 3rd party APIs and updated the connector framework. In February 2021, they transitioned to the role of Development Manager/Lead Engineer.

Additionally, Justin co-founded Zenchi Technologies, LLC in 2016.

Throughout their professional journey, Justin has demonstrated expertise in software development, database design, web applications, API integration, and project management.

Justin Sommercorn attended Murray High School from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they studied both technology and art, although they did not receive a specific degree.
