Hannah DeMoss, MPH, currently serves as Senior Manager at The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention, focusing on providing training and technical assistance for hospital violence intervention programs. With extensive experience as a Birth Doula at Accompany Doula Care, Hannah supports parents in advocating for their healthcare decisions and offers resources throughout the pregnancy journey. As a Trained Doula with DONA and a former Family Support Coordinator at Boston Medical Center, services included psychological first aid for families affected by violence, using trauma-informed care principles. Previous roles include qualitative researcher at Boston University School of Public Health, program assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, sexual assault victim advocate, and research assistant at the National Institutes of Health. Hannah holds a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Global Health and Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Iowa.
