Laura O'Brien Charis

Laura O'Brien Charis has extensive experience in real estate and legal support roles. Currently serving as a Technical Assistant to the Land Court at the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds since December 2002, Laura acts as a liaison between the Registry and the Massachusetts Land Court, ensuring the accurate issuance of Certificates of Titles. Additionally, Laura has held the position of Assistant Register of Deeds, supervising the Registered Land division. Laura is also a Realtor at Donahue Real Estate since November 2011, providing guidance to buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Previous roles include Sales Associate at Century 21 and Legislative Aide to Councillor Michael Flaherty at the Boston City Council, as well as administrative work at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Suffolk University and a Master’s in Criminal Justice from Western New England University.
