Benny Hermans

Benny Hermans has extensive work experience in various IT roles. Benny worked at Donaldson Company, Inc as a Sr. IT Security and Compliance Principal, where they focused on data privacy and ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and SOX. Benny also worked as an IT Operations Analyst at the same company, focusing on governance and compliance management. Prior to this, Benny worked as a Business Applications Analyst, where they managed projects and analyzed business applications for ERP systems and service management systems. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Leader at CDS and as an IT Consultant at Cegeka. Benny began their career as a Functional Analyst at VCST Industrial Products.

Benny Hermans completed their education from 1974 to 1980 at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Diest, focusing on Latin-Greek. From 1980 to 1985, they pursued a degree in Handelsingenieur with a specialization in information management at UHasselt. Additionally, they obtained certifications in information privacy management, including CIPM and CIPP/E, from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in March 2018.
