Tylor Hess has a diverse work experience across various industries. Tylor started their career as a summer intern at Telefónica in 2008. Tylor then worked as a mechanical engineer at Jonathan Olivares Design Research, where they contributed to the design of a Knoll office chair. In 2009, they became a project manager and manufacturing engineer at MIT Media Lab. Tylor then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant, where they primarily worked with the US government. Tylor was a co-founder and researcher at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, an international collaboration between MIT and Russia. Tylor also co-founded inHouse Produce, a startup focused on hydroponic vegetable cultivation. Most recently, Tylor served as the program director and acting president of Donnelly Construction's logistics division.
Tylor Hess obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2010. After that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and completed it in 2016. Prior to their college education, they attended East Stroudsburg High School South from 2002 to 2006.
