James W. Parker

James W. Parker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the arts and music education. Currently serving as an Office Administrator at Door No. 3 and Co-Founder of Austin Unconducted since September 2021, James also holds the position of Director of Finance at Tetractys New Music, where responsibilities include crafting the organization's mission and overseeing an international program for community engagement. Previously, James worked as a Music Editor at Red House Studio and as a Teaching Artist with Austin Soundwaves, where skills in music instruction were developed. Additionally, James held various roles at the Boy Scouts of America’s Denver Area Council, ultimately becoming Program Director. Education includes a Doctor of Music from Cornell University, a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and Composition from Ithaca College.
