Angela Verkuijlen

Angela Verkuijlen is a seasoned cultural entrepreneur with extensive experience in arts programming and education. Currently serving as Programmamanager for Roosje Music Club at Doornroosje and Programmamaker at Lindenberg Cultuurhuis, Angela supports various arts and cultural initiatives in Nijmegen. With a background in developing educational projects for organizations like Theatergroep Kwatta and Ro Theater, Angela also held the role of Nachtburgemeester of Nijmegen, promoting cultural initiatives and enhancing the city’s vibrant night scene. Additionally, Angela founded The Plees to Be, a creative company focused on enhancing festival bathroom experiences, and has a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor of Theatre and Education from ArtEZ University of the Arts.
