Jimmy Israel

Jimmy Israel is an experienced professional currently serving as a science editor and content creation project assistant at Wetenschapsknooppunt Radboud Universiteit since October 2021. In addition to this role, Jimmy has been a content creator for Schiet7Kleuren since January 2013 and works as a house photographer for Doornroosje since November 2014, capturing concert experiences and managing online photo content. Previous freelance work includes journalism and photography for DPG Media from February 2014 to October 2021, focusing on local publications in Nijmegen. Jimmy also held a part-time position at Wetenschapsknooppunt Radboud Universiteit from February 2019 to April 2021, providing text and image support for educational programs. Earlier experiences include a role in public relations at FOK! and a PhD candidacy at UMC St Radboud, where fundamental research on transcription factors in white blood cell development was conducted. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Radboud University and a Master’s stage in Biochemistry at Tohoku University.
