David Phillips has worked in the distillery industry since 1981. David began their career working on a family farm, where they were responsible for the daily operations of a 900-acre grain crop and cattle operation. In 1986, they began working at Crop Production Services as a Sales/Warehouse Supervisor, where they maintained an excellent knowledge of all farm related products and presented them in one on one sales situations. In 1995, they began working at Unilever as an Aseptic Filler Operator, and then moved to the role of Production Operator. In 2000, they began working at PepsiCo as an Aseptic Process Leader. In 2003, they began working at Beam Suntory as a Distillery Senior Supervisor Booker Noe Distillery, where they assumed all responsibilities of the Distillery Manager role in addition to Senior Supervisor role November 2013 and increased production 16.7% (2013-2017) through process change and improvement. In 2017, they began working at Diageo as a Distillery Team Lead. In 2022, they began working at Doozy Solutions as a Distillery Edition Product Lead, and at Luca Mariano Distillery as a Master Distiller.
David Phillips received a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business and Management from the University of Kentucky between 1989 and 1993. David also attended the University of Arkansas Department of Food Service FDA-FPI-NFPA Better Process Control School until 1995.
