Nick Mottershead FCA

Nick Mottershead FCA has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Nick began their career in 1988 as an Audit Trainee at Ernst & Young LLP, where they worked their way up to Senior Manager. Nick then moved to Group Digital Limited in 2004, where they were the Finance Director. In 2010, they became the CEO and Board Chair of MidVision, where they successfully transformed the early stage business into a commercial entity worth over €5 million. In 2014, they joined Square Peg International as a Director (Associate), providing specialist support to clients around strategy, IT, governance and risk and financial management. Most recently, they joined dopay in 2017 as CFO, Risk, Compliance & Group HR, where they were a key ExCo member with responsibilities for finance, HR, cash & treasury, risk and regulation and compliance. Nick also supported the CEO in fund raising and organisational transformation, and successfully secured €25 million in funding.

Nick Mottershead FCA has an education history that spans over the course of 35 years. Nick obtained a Bachelor's Degree 2.1 in Cybernetics & Control Engineering from Reading University between 1985 and 1988. Nick then went on to obtain an FCA from Ernst & Young between 1988 and 2003. Nick was certified by the ICAEW in July 1991. Nick also obtained a Bachelor's Degree 1st in Theology and Ministry from Canterbury Christ Church University between 2012 and 2015. Finally, they obtained a Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in November 2019.
