Steve Brown, MCPPO, CDT has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and project management. Steve started their career as an Architectural Intern at Hresko Associates Inc. in 1998 and worked there until 2002. Steve then joined TRO Jung|Brannen as a Designer from 1999 to 2007.
In 2007, Steve joined DORE + WHITTIER where they held multiple roles. Steve started as an Assistant Project Manager and worked there until 2013. During this time, they gained experience as an Owner's Project Manager (OPM) overseeing municipal and educational capital improvement projects. Steve also had a proven track record in delivering K-12 projects, including those funded by the MSBA's Core Project grant program. Steve was well-versed in MGL procurement requirements and public bidding statutes.
From 2013 to 2018, Steve served as a Project Manager at DORE + WHITTIER, further expanding their project oversight and management skills.
In 2019, Steve joined Arcadis as a Senior Project Manager, where they continued to contribute their expertise until 2021. Steve then moved to CHA Consulting, Inc. as the Section Manager - Project Executive from 2021 to 2022.

Steve Brown, MCPPO, CDT began their education by attending the Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering. Following this, from 2003 to 2008, Brown attended the Boston Architectural College where they earned a Master of Architecture degree, specializing in Architecture.
In addition to their educational background, Brown has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received the MCPPO (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official) certification from the Office of Massachusetts Inspector General. Two years later, in 2015, they obtained the CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) certification from the Construction Specifications Institute. Most recently, in 2019, Brown completed the "SharePoint Online Essential Training: The Basics" course offered by LinkedIn.
