Erica Dziedzic is the general counsel and corporate secretary for the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. She oversees the legal affairs of the foundation and works closely with the foundation’s president and staff, as well as supports the board on corporate governance matters and beyond. Dziedzic joined the foundation in 2007 as an attorney assisting the general counsel before being named as counsel in 2009 and corporate secretary in 2012.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Sophie Newcomb College at Tulane University with a major in history and minor in psychology, and studied as a visiting undergraduate at Charles University in the Czech Republic. Dziedzic continued her education at St. John’s University School of Law, where she was an editor of the New York International Law Review and earned her J.D. in 2005. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
