Jessica Van Grouw is the program associate for the arts at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation (DDCF), where she supports the program manager in the day-to-day operations of the Doris Duke Artist Awards Program and serves in a key administrative role for the overall work of the Arts Program. Prior to joining DDCF in 2019, she worked as a program coordinator at the Ballet Tech Foundation and Dancing Classrooms NYC, where she was responsible for the logistical aspects of their programs for public school children.
Van Grouw graduated from William Paterson University of New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in literature, and was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, The International English Honors Society. Van Grouw is a lover of literature and a supporter of literacy, and in her spare time, she channels these passions into volunteer work for Books on the Subway, an organization that aims to make the subway system an alternative public library.
