Olivier Benyessaad

Olivier Benyessaad has a diverse work experience primarily in the fields of business development, strategy, and risk assessment in the offshore oil & gas and marine renewable energy industries. Olivier began their career at Bureau Veritas in 2009, starting as an Offshore Engineer/Risk and Reliability Engineer. Olivier then moved up to the position of Project Manager Risk Services, where they managed risk and reliability studies, provided consulting services, and represented the company at international events. In 2014, they became the Offshore Business Development Manager | Ocean Energy Market Leader at Bureau Veritas, where they focused on developing and extending the company's client portfolio in the offshore oil & gas and marine renewable energy sectors. In 2017, they also served as the Chairman of the TC 114 French Standards Mirror Committee at the International Electrotechnical Commission. Olivier Benyessaad is currently working at DORIS Group, starting as the Head of Business Development in 2018, then progressing to the role of Head of Strategy & Business Development, and currently holding the position of Vice President | Business Development.

Olivier Benyessaad's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, which was obtained from 2003 to 2006. Olivier then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanics, specializing in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, from ENSTA Bretagne between 2006 and 2009. Later, in 2020 and 2022, they completed Executive Short Programs in Strategy Development and Finance, respectively, at ESSEC Business School and ESCP Business School.
