Eric Tryson

Eric Tryson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. From 2013 to present, they have worked at Dorman Products, starting as a Mechanical Designer II and then progressing to Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Global Engineering Services. In these roles, Eric's responsibilities included reverse engineering and designing automotive parts, creating detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings, and producing photorealistic 3D renderings for marketing purposes.

Prior to Dorman Products, Eric worked as a Freelance Industrial Designer starting in 2008. Eric also served as the General Manager at Finish Line from 2002 to 2013, overseeing all aspects of store operation.

Additionally, Eric had brief stints as a Designer at Geissele Automatics in 2011 and as the Co-Founder/Industrial Designer at tryevoeDESIGN from 2009 to 2010.

Eric Tryson attended North Penn High School from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Eric then went on to study at Philadelphia University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Product Design. In terms of certifications, Eric Tryson received multiple certifications in SOLIDWORKS software from Dassault Systèmes, including the Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert - Mechanical Design in 2016, CSWPA-SM Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Sheet Metal in 2015, CSWPA-WD Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Weldments in 2015, CSWPA-SU Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Surfacing in 2015, CSWPA-DT Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional - Advanced Drawing Tool in 2015, Certified SolidWorks Professional in 2014, and Certified SolidWorks Associate in 2013. Eric Tryson also holds the Associate-Additive Manufacturing certification from Dassault Systèmes, although the year of obtaining this certification is unspecified.
