Furqan Ahmad

Furqan Ahmad has extensive work experience in various roles related to quality assurance, compliance, and management. In 2010, they joined GDC Technics, LLC where they held roles such as Head of Independent System Monitoring (ISM) and Director of Quality. In these positions, they developed and implemented company policies, optimized processes, and conducted audits to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management System. Furqan also played a key role in defining and implementing risk management processes, supplier selection, and evaluating supplier performance. Furqan Ahmad successfully guided their company in obtaining a new EN 9100 certificate through a third-party audit. Furqan also conducted management and customer satisfaction reviews, provided training on safety, security, and quality management systems, and utilized MS Project for project management. Prior to GDC Technics, LLC, Furqan Ahmad worked at Dornier Seawings GmbH as a Quality Assurance Manager and Lead Quality Auditor. Furqan also held a role as Export Compliance Manager. Previous to that, they gained experience in the dairy and textile industries.

Furqan Ahmad obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, during the period of 1999-2003. Subsequently, from 2006 to 2009, Furqan pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechatronics from Universität Siegen.

In addition to their formal education, Furqan Ahmad has acquired several certifications including Top Performer Awards for Year 2021 from Dornier Seawings GmbH, Operational Excellence, Six Sigma Foundations, Supply Chain and Operations, Leadership Mindset, and Managing Logistics from LinkedIn Learning. Furqan also holds certifications such as Quality Management Representative (QMR / QMB) from TÜV Süd, Auditor Certificate - ISO 19011 from Aero Bildungs GmbH, and Quality Management Specialist (QMS / QMF) from TÜV Süd. Furthermore, Furqan has completed various training programs from reputable institutions such as Airbus Group, EADS Deutschland GmbH, and Fit for EASA GmbH, covering topics like Aviation Legislation, Airworthiness Awareness, Configuration Conformity Process, Delta 1 Process, and eCAIR Tool Training. Furqan has also undergone Aviation Legislation EASA Part M and CAMO Training at Aerobildung Aviation Training Center.
