Ty Eades

Ty Eades is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and IT architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Dorsett Controls since April 2020, Ty previously held the position of Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture at Old Dominion Freight Line from August 2007 to April 2020, where responsibilities included guiding IT architecture to align with corporate strategy and leading technology planning teams. Additionally, Ty managed a large team of Java developers as an Application Development Manager at Old Dominion, focusing on Agile development for internal and external customer support tools. Earlier career experience includes serving as the Director of Software Development at Etix from April 2000 to August 2007. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University, obtained in 1999.
